Medicom Toy continues a holiday storm of BE@RBRICKs with its latest “Kutani Awata Yu” edition. Released in a 400% model, the figure is hand made in Japan, out of porcelain from the 360 year old Kutani ware.
Kutani ware is a style of traditional Japanese pottery originating from Kutani, Japan. The technique, which requires burning and glazing, shrinks and expands the material leaving a coveted cracked texture on the high gloss ceramic.
