Loose and roomy, the Nike ACG """"Tuff Nuggets"""" Shell is made to wear over a base and midlayer. It has wind-and-waterproof fabric, with plenty of storage to keep your gear close and secure. Inspired by the rocky tuff of Oregon's Smith Rock, the jacket's packable design lets you easily layer down when wet weather clears.
This product was designed and tested in Oregon, USA. The state's vast wilderness and climate served as inspiration for our designs. To create this shell, our team went to Smith Rock—a rock climbing playground in Central Oregon—to connect with the environment and learn how it can inform our gear and how we use it.
This shell takes its name from Tuff Nuggets, a volcanic-rock wall at Smith Rock with 3 routes for climbers to explore. An internal tag features an image of the wall, with details about the surrounding region.
Nike HyperShield fabric is designed to block elements like wind and water to keep you comfortable in the harshest weather. Its fully seam-sealed design helps keep water and wind out.
A zippered pocket at the chest can store small items. The jacket can also be packed into the pocket when you need to layer down.
An external loop connects to the included tribiner. Use it to attach keys or additional tools.
Lightweight fabric helps resist the wind.
3-piece hood with drawcord lets you adjust your coverage. An attached visor helps keep the sun out of your eyes.
Seamless shoulders keeps you moving freely and without distraction.
Zippered pockets to warm your hands or give you extra room for storage.
Elongated back hem helps extend coverage.
